County Ball - verification needed[edit]

The currently linked person (Rosa Campbell Praed) was not alive in 1820 (at least according to the linked page). Something has to change! Also, the only reference I can find to the "County Ball" and "Campbell Praed" is a repeat of the claim. Pingku 06:58, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction of other article[edit]

"The first known usage of the term was in an 1820 book entitled County Ball by Mrs. Campbell Praed." The article on Mrs. Praed states that she was born in 1851. NorthernThunder 03:59, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was amused by the idiocy of the statement that the "term is used in a slightly different sense, but with a fairly similar meaning." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.197.15.138 (talk) 03:47, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
