No indication of notability. He is on the faculty of Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt, Weimar ([1]) and has been a conductor on five albums ([2]), but none of them have charted and they're on five different labels, none of them major, so no evidence that he is prominent enough to have been signed to a recording deal. I don't see how he meets WP:GNG; as a professor, does not meet WP:NACADEMIC; and as a conductor, he does not meet WP:MUSICBIO.

Notability[edit]

I PRODded this yesterday, as I see no claims of notability (noted in the template above). It was reverted today by Andrew Davidson, but with no substantive reason given. Andrew Davidson, can you explain why you think Hilgers meets notability (whether under WP:NACADEMIC, WP:MUSICBIO, or something else entirely)? If there's a good claim to notability I'm missing, I don't want to take it to AFD (and it would be worth including in the article, too). TJRC (talk) 18:34, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
