season 2 and overall name of the article[edit]

the title of this article is currently "yolo: crystal fantasy", and it is listed as having two (2) seasons. according to the way the episodes and seasons are listed here, as well as on various other online sources, the reality of the situation appears to be that crystal fantasy was just meant to be the subtitle or whatever name of season one (1), and silver destiny is meant to be the subtitle of season two (2).. that being said, titling the entire article "yolo: crystal fantasy" would appear to be incorrect.

if there are no objections to this, i could probably figure out how to correct everything, aside from changing the overall name of the page/url, as i am prettysure im still unaware how to do that part (im not sure if i need different user rights or what, but i seem to remember reading that regular editors were not allowed to alter overall article titles/urls)

if you choose to respond to this, please ping me so i see your reply asap. any input/advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Requested move 14 July 2023[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: Moved to YOLO (2020 TV series) and YOLO (2016 TV series). WP:NCTVUS calls for country, then year, then format as the disambiguator when possible. There's no good reason (past personal preference) for deviating from that guideline here. (closed by non-admin page mover) Skarmory (talk • contribs) 02:36, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

– Insufficient disambiguation. The Ghanaian series is also known in reliable sources by the all-caps "YOLO".[1] See WP:NCTV. 162 etc. (talk) 20:31, 14 July 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 01:37, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment Move to alternative: Is country or year not sufficient? (See WP:NCTVUS.) With years they would be YOLO (2020 TV series) and YOLO (2016 TV series). With countries they would be YOLO (American TV series) and YOLO (Ghanaian TV series) based on WP:NCTVUS, which says "country of broadcast". (However, the former is really more of an "Australian" TV series based on where it was made and set, though it was bought by an American company and apparently first broadcast in the U.S.). As you noted, it seem difficult to assign just one country to this animated series. The infobox identifies it as both Australian and American. The animator is Australian and the show is set in Australia, but the show is produced by an American company and broadcast on an American service. — BarrelProof (talk) 05:33, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So then why not the year? The guidelines at WP:NCTVUS imply that should be preferred (If the year, country, or a combination of both is still insufficient to disambiguate the topic, an appropriate genre or format word ("animated TV series" or "anime", "telenovela", "soap opera", "sitcom", etc.) can then be considered for use via a page move request.). @162 etc.: Do you have an opinion on my alternative, YOLO (2020 TV series) (rather than "animated")? SilverLocust 💬 01:23, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I won't object to it, but still stand by my original proposal. 162 etc. (talk) 08:04, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
