  • Suggestion You might want to change ALT1 & ALT2 from "in the magazine Lands" to "in Land magazine's". GoingBatty (talk) 03:18, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
Copyedit made per BabbaQ. Now I'm wondering if the plural of "hillbilly" should be "hillbillies". GoingBatty (talk) 23:53, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
Yes I believe so.. good point.BabbaQ (talk) 22:06, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
  • Full review needed now that hooks have been corrected. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:58, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
  • Article is long enough (2127 characters when nominated) and new enough (created 9 January 2016, nominated 12 January 2016). It is neutrally worded, is referenced with inline citations, and no plagiarism.
Original hook: The first reference (dated 2014) only states that they will be announcing the 2014 sexiest politicians, it doesn't name them. The next ref (dated 2013) names Källström as the 2013 sexiest politician. So you either need to find a reference stating that he did win in 2014 or just change it to 2013. The length is fine and is cited inline (just needs tweeking).
ALT1 and ALT2: I find these more amusing and therefore better hooks. They work well and contrast with the picture of a man in a clean white shirt and suit; he doesn't look like much of a hillbilly! I might be worth adding a link to hillbilly in case people don't know what it means. They are both correctly referenced and cited inline.
Image: the picture is appropriate, free-use, used in the article, and works well when small.
QPQ is complete so just waiting on the original hook to be edited (or I can discount it and pass this with ALT1 and ALT2). Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 15:34, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
I've fixed the hooks: all hooks must start with an ellipsis and (almost invariably) "that", and neither ALT did: this should always be done before a nomination is approved. I've also fixed the DYKmake formatting and removed almost everyone: this is for significant contributors only, and while W.carter might also qualify based on this edit, none of the others did. Just discount it and go for the other hooks. Seems good to me. I will fix that hillbilly issue ahead of the article appearing at DYK. Thanks.BabbaQ (talk) 08:37, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
ALT1 and ALT2 are good to go. AGF for foreign language sources. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 13:52, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
