Laura O'Sullivan[edit]

Created by Kosack (talk). Self-nominated at 12:11, 25 October 2017 (UTC).

  • New enough (created October 25). Long enough and hook is interesting. Hook is correctly cited to the BBC. NPOV and BLP met. QPQ is done and no photos to review. (I question whether Alt-1 is supported by RS.) Chetsford (talk) 05:35, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but don't find ALT0 hooky at all. ALT1 is more interesting, but if it's not supported by a reliable source, we'll need another hook idea. Yoninah (talk) 22:10, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: The article supporting the second hook is from The Football League Paper, a sister publication of The Non-League Paper, so I'm quite certain it's a reliable source. If it's the website that's causing confusion, PressReader is a news archive site so has no input in the article. Kosack (talk) 07:19, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
  • @Kosack: Well, I see a different problem: the article doesn't mention the 18 months–or does it? I prefer to promote something hookier than ALT0. Yoninah (talk) 23:10, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: Do you mean the Wikipedia page or the source? I've fixed the page now, the hook is mentioned in the international career section. The source mentions the month she became a goalkeeper. Thanks. Kosack (talk) 07:32, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
  • If the 18 months is an issue then perhaps it can be changed to the actual dates? .
  • ALT1A that footballer Laura O'Sullivan made her debut for Wales as a goalkeeper in March 2016, having only taken up the position in December 2014? Kosack (talk) 07:53, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
  • ALT2 ... that Association football goalkeeper Laura O'Sullivan was named Welsh Women's Footballer of the Year in 2017, despite only converting to the position in 2014?
  • Or perhaps a combination of the two hooks like ALT2? A couple of different options, wording could be tightened perhaps, what are your thoughts? Kosack (talk) 13:19, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
  • No, I think ALT1 is great, and now it's cited. Restoring tick per Chetsford's review. Yoninah (talk) 20:39, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
