Viola Sonata (Waterhouse)[edit]

- Comment: I thought about the word play of the sonata name and recording name, also about the catchy review title translating to "The viola in Jewish lament", but it came out too complicated.

The article is long enough and new enough as well as neutral. The hook and article is reliably cited. The QPQ is complete. I assume good faith on the German references. SL93 (talk) 00:17, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
Hi, I came by to promote this, but do not see any reference to "Oyfn Pripetshik" in the German source. Instead, it cites "Am Kamin" as the Yiddish melody (not sure what that's referring to). Also, would you like to translate Sonata ebraica for English readers? Yoninah (talk) 21:39, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

- I found the ref that mentioned the other title and added it now. "Kamin" is a German translation of "hearth", but I would not have made the connection without the Labhart ref. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:57, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
