Darband (Persian: دربند)^[3] is a village in the Darjazin Rural District of the Central District of Mehdishahr County, Semnan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 20 in 4 households, when it was in Chashm Rural District of the former Mehdishahr District of Semnan County).^[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 76 people in 28 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Mehdishahr County.^[5] It was the most populous village in its rural district.^[2]
