Kashtiban (Persian: كشتيبان, also Romanized as Kashtībān and Keshtībān[3] is a village in, and the former capital of, Bakeshluchay Rural District of the Central District of Urmia County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] The capital of the rural district has been transferred to the village of Emamzadeh.[5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 992 in 312 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 958 people in 324 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 915 people in 355 households.[2]
