Yurqunabad-e Olya (Persian: يورقون ابادعليا), also Romanized as Yūrqūnābād-e ‘Olyā,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Bash Qaleh Rural District of the Central District of Urmia County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 408 in 110 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 287 people in 87 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 418 people in 129 households.[2]
