tone / pov?[edit]

Someone recently put tone and pov-tags on this page, without any explanation.

Of course the article could be much enhanced, but to my opinion there is no reason to maintain these tags.

Inserted by a prankster currently using the username User:Rms125a@hotmail.com; notified at its talkpage.--Wetman (talk) 17:45, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest the article about her garden be merged here. It has no references. It is not clear to me that it is notable independent of her. It can occupy its own section in this article.--Chaser (talk) 03:20, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Violation of copyright in Upton Grey Manor House subsection?[edit]

Much of the material in the section Upton Grey Manor House seems to be very close to the material at the Manor House's official website. See: [1] JezGrove (talk) 23:02, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, indeed, JezGrove, been a copyvio since 2007 (first in Upton Grey, then in Gertrude Jekyll's Garden, Upton Grey Manor House, then moved, clearly in good faith, here). I feel particularly dumb because I edited that specific content a while ago but didn't notice the problem. So thanks for being more awake than I was. I've added a few sentences to the page to fill that gap a bit; there's almost unlimited scope for expansion there, I think. Routine template below. Thanks Justlettersandnumbers - I only spotted it when I looked for a source to replace the 'citation needed' tags, and found one that was a bit TOO good! JezGrove (talk) 07:50, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
