Draft:Revati Devasthale

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  • Comment: Passing mentions and primary sources do not confer notability per WP:GNG, and there is nothing in the career history that would meet WP:NBADMINTON notability either. In light of this, and the previous six declines, I can only conclude that the subject is not notable enough to warrant inclusion, and am therefore rejecting this draft now to avoid further reviewer time being expended on it. • Comment: The references need to be presented properly – please make sure that each of them contains at least a minimum of information. The ref toolbar is a helpful tool when creating references.
    * The title parameter should have the title of the newspaper article or the webpage (not the website).
    * The website name goes in the website field.
    * The retrieved parameter is the date when you accessed the source, not the date when it was first published.
    * The date parameter, on the other hand, should give the date of publication, if that is known. (A database listing doesn't need a date, but a newspaper article does.)
Avoid having multiple references verifying a single fact. One source is sufficient in almost all cases.
Remove all references to Sportskeeda, Wikipedia, and Blogspot sources. They are not reliable sources. bonadea contributions talk 11:35, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
  • Comment: Okay I've looked at the sources in the article and did a proquest search outside. [1] and [2] seemed promising to me but they are not independent (of each other) and seems shady to me. Would argue that this is borderline and there might be two sources I can find for the subject. one or two more sources may be enough. Can we find any non-English sources about the subject? • Comment: somewhat convinced of GNG per wikipedia library sources, marked as in review and will do so in ~12 hours Justiyaya 16:18, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
  • Comment: Thanks for creating this draft. The subject doesn't seem to meet the notability criteria for an athlete to have a biography on Wikipedia as the highest level of sport she has participated in is youth regional (and one international event). MurielMary (talk) 11:33, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
