Overall: I'm AGFing on many of the offline sources, since I can't get access to most of them. However, I can get access to the hook source through JSTOR, and I can confirm that it does verify the hook. This is long enough, and I think it's more substantial than a stub (i.e. an article deemed too short and incomplete to provide encyclopedic coverage of a subject), even if it is written as one section with a references list.
