...who wrestled [Bob Backlund] for the WWWF title after Backlund "lost" to [Antonio Inoki]and the promotion "had" to make the title vacant when Inoki refused to accept the belt? If anyone knows, I would appreciate reading more about that tournament. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.80.60.230 (talk) 23:39, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: moved. No need for the dab per WP:ONEOTHER, will swap and convert the dab to a redirect, add a hatnote to Jr.'s page. (closed by non-admin page mover) ASUKITE 16:47, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Bobby Duncum Sr. → Bobby Duncum – The elder Duncum always wrestled as "Bobby Duncum" and the younger Duncum always wrestled as "Bobby Duncum Jr.", so the use of "Sr" for the elder Duncum is unnecessary. McPhail (talk) 11:33, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support Looks logical. If he mainly worked as Duncum with no Sr., there is no reason to include ir. See Bob Orton or Dory Funk. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 12:13, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I think having the base name at DAB makes most sense, no?--Ortizesp (talk) 22:12, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think so - Duncum Jr was always known by that name. Duncum Sr never performed under that name so the article title is inaccurate. McPhail (talk) 23:48, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support There's John F. Kennedy, John F. Kennedy Jr. and John F. Kennedy (disambiguation). The senior Duncum (like President Kennedy) isn't commonly known as "Sr." I'm not sure if a dab page is needed, a hatnote should be fine, but create a separate page with "(disambiguation)" in the title if necessary.LM2000 (talk) 11:35, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
