"Defaced" is correct usage[edit]

The caption for the flag (near top of page) reads,

"Orange flag with a cross of St George in canton defaced with a purple star"

I found myself wondering, is "defaced" a normal usage in this context? Turns out, it is. E-hadj (talk) 00:50, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
