[Untitled][edit]

In reference to the suggestion that the Church of Christ of Indonesia (Indonesian: Gereja Kristus Yesus Indonesia) be merged with Indonesia Christian Church (Indonesian: Gereja Kristen Indonesia), the merging should not be done as Indonesia Christian Church is NOT referring to a denomination, it is a Church name, just like The Redeemer Church in New York pastored by Timothy Keller (if you get what I meant). Both articles are referring to 2 different church, therefore, the merging of the articles would be a grave error. Reinaldo Christopher (talk) 08:13, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reformed or Lutheran?[edit]

There is no denonomination named "The Indonesian Christian Church" within the World Communion of Reformed Churches (see https://wcrc.ch/members#asia), while there is a denomination named that way within the Lutheran World Federation (see https://lutheranworld.org/member-churches/asia/indonesia). However, there is a Reformed church denomination named "Indonesian Christian Church Synod". We should have two separate articles: "The Indonesian Christian Church" on the Lutheran denomination and "Indonesian Christian Church Synod" on the Reformed one. Is there anyone able to help? -- Checco (talk) 19:04, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I thus moved this article to "Indonesian Christian Church Synod". --Checco (talk) 19:21, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
