I dont know how to edit the table of winners, but someone who knows how can use the following entry to make it more complete:

2000, Prada (Italy), Auckland New Zealand

The 2000 table entry should read Prada, not Luna Rossa.

The winning vessel was called Prada. Luna Rossa is the name of the yachting syndicate.

Actully, the Winning vessel was named "Luna Rossa" and the syndicate name was "Prada" in 2000. This is confusing because the 2007 name for the syndicate is "Luna Rossa" with the vessel being named "Prada" (Source Rayner, Ranulf. Merge with Herbert Pell Cup proposal

I disagree with the proposal to merge the Pell trophy with any other trophy associated with later versions of the Challenger Selection Series. The Pell Cup is a trophy, not an event and deserves its own article. The Pell, dating from 1958, is the senior most trophy presented to the Challenger. Lipton dates from '70's and LV from 1983. The Pell Cup has all the Challengers engraved on it since 1962 and has its own identity separate from the more recent financial sponsorships associated with the Challenger Selection Series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.1.177.99 (talk) 14:15, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

Louis Vuitton Cup was the Challenger Selection Series until 2017. The LV terminated its comercial association with America's Cup and was replaced by Prada. the 2021 Prada Cup will be another season of this series, just re-branded. Previous to the LV association, the Challenger Selection Series had the name of Herbert Pell Cup. So there is 3 different designations for the same competition, or competition with the same aim: define the Challenger that will try to get America's Cup from the Defender. So I propose this 2 articles to be merged here, since its the biggest article. The article should be renamed either Prada Cup or Challenger Selection Series (not a very common designation, so Prada Cup would preferable), with a redirect from Prada Cup.Rpo.castro (talk) 17:11, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

The Louis Vuitton Cup is absolutely its own entity, and was an important yachting trophy associated with the most iconic yachting competition, the America's Cup. There are copious references for the origins, history and eventual retirement of the use of the title.

This edit suggesting to merge is a ridiculous distraction from the knowledge for which Wikipedia was intended, and an example of why there should be knowledgeable editors. Any more random trophies you'd like to suggest?
