This article brought back from being merged - now it needs improvement[edit]

This article was tagged as notible and merge within a 5 minute period and was then merged within three hours. This drive-by tagging was done far to fast to allow any sort of realistic and reasonable improvement effort, so I have reverted the merger and removed the unhelpful tags.

I have left the improvement tag on, because this article is a stub that badly needs the help of wikipedians who have knowlege of Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd. Although, the merger was not appropriate, this article is badly in need of your help.

The history of this company is a bit muddled with the history of Sovereign Press, Inc. So I have requested help on the Dragonlance Forums. I'm hoping that some of the experts that hang out on that forum, can identify some good secondary sources that can be used to improve this article. I've just cleaned up the article a little bit; it's also worth noting that one of the external links is dead. -Drilnoth (talk) 15:40, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Moving back to Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd was unproductive: read Wikipedia:Naming conventions#Companies. Removing the notability tag was wrong too, as the issue is not accuracy (the point of refimprove) but notability (coverage in secondary sources). I've re-tagged, and will move back once the speedy is completed. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 17:32, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've specified the tag to be the notability for companies. Also, what's the speedy you referred to? (I see) -Drilnoth (talk) 17:35, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Title Inconsistency[edit]

The anal-retentive will notice that in this article, titles of MWP games sometimes use "Roleplaying", sometimes use "Role Playing", sometimes use "Roleplaying Game", sometimes use "The Roleplaying Game"... this is accurate; I double checked 'em all with the official site and Amazon. There's just not a consistent pattern. Thanlis (talk) 16:25, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Actually there is at least a partial pattern. All the Cortex System games produced by Jamie Chambers use Role Playing as two words and are Role Playing Game. All the Cortex Plus games produced by Cam Banks use Roleplaying as one word - although whether they have the word The or Game varies from game to game. Just to be difficult, after the departure of Cam Banks, the new Firefly RPG uses Role-Playing Neonchameleon (talk) 02:08, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
