Specs[edit]

The faq section at http://www.segway.com/puma/ clarifies that a full recharge would take ~8-10 hours, and cost about $0.60. The NYT article seems to inaccurately state that it weighs 600lbs (the official faq and AP article both say 300lbs). Just noting. -- Quiddity (talk) 19:33, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The faq also states that: "This is only a prototype with no current plans to offer it for sale". I'm going to categorize and state it as being "experimental", and tweak the DYK entry. -- Quiddity (talk) 06:29, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

South Park[edit]

Should be noted in the article that this resembles the vehicle in the south park episode that parodied the hype surrounding the debut of the Segway. 67.100.189.90 (talk)cupieCdelite67.100.189.90 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 12:17, 8 April 2009 (UTC).[reply]

The joking idea of enclosing/enlarging the Segway occurred to almost everybody after it first came out; no need to drag in a South Park reference. - DavidWBrooks (talk) 19:57, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
