Overall: Hi, MaranoFan. Review as follows: article is new enough, long enough, well-sourced, neutral and plagiarism-free. Both of the hooks are interesting with preference for ALT1 because "work" is a bit vague (like, is it promotion or recording or writing or release or something else?). I'm having trouble locating "she considered her child a present". Could you clarify for me? Thanks. QPQ has been done. Pamzeis (talk) 07:24, 10 August 2023 (UTC)

Thanks Pamzeis, hopefully you're enjoying this article :) That part of the hook pertains to the description of "My Kind of Present" in the Composition section; she describes the subject as her "kind of present" and told NPR: "It's, like, my song to my baby. When I perform it live, I do a dance where I tap my belly and I'm like, (singing) you're my kind of present. And it's so cute because I'm so excited for my baby." I don't share your concerns about ALT1 since I'm pretty sure "work" encompasses all of the things you've mentioned, but as long as we both like the first hook it's all good.--NØ 07:32, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
Ohhhh, ok, I completely missed that, sorry. I've had another look at the article, and I can't seem to verify the fact that she wore bows because of the song/its subject, only that she wore them in the promotional material. Am I just missing that? Thanks. Pamzeis (talk) 08:06, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
I think there should be some room for creativity with DYKs but, ugh, fine. Here you go.--NØ 08:18, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
Pamzeis, thoughts on ALT2?--NØ 13:22, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
  • Good to go with ALT2! Pamzeis (talk) 14:21, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
  • @BorgQueen and Bruxton: Anything else required here? (sorry for the random ping)--NØ 15:12, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
@MaranoFan: I see that we are settled on ALT2 and I will stick with you to promote the hook. But right now it is not easy to find the hook facts. Can you put the hook in the article so that it is easy for a promotor and administrator to verify? Bruxton (talk) 22:16, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
Hi Bruxton, I have made some edits to the article per your suggestion. The baby being considered a present can be verified at the NPR link above, and Today seems to state Trainor wearing bows while promoting the album during her pregnancy more explicitly. Hope that solves it. Cheers, NØ 19:50, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
