January 2024[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Thomas L. Kennedy Secondary School, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 21:47, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies, I will try to find a citation or a source and edit it a later time, Thank you. Titan2456 (talk) 21:56, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Drive-by nominations[edit]

Please stop nominating articles you have no contributions to for GA. This is against the rules and all drive-by nominations have been reverted. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 16:03, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I was a unaware of that rule, Thank you for alerting me. Titan2456 (talk) 16:36, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

GA[edit]

I would really, strongly, advise you to withdraw your nomination for Treaty of Saadabad. It is a long way from GA. It has bare urls, non-standard formatting, and needs a vigorous copyedit. I haven't looked at the sourcing quality, but there are several unreferenced claims. I urge your to quietly withdraw it and gain experience with the GA criteria, rather than have it quick-failed, which is liable to happen. 🌺 Cremastra (talk) 17:59, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Titan2456 (talk) 05:17, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

February 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm MBlaze Lightning. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Indo-Pakistani war of 1965 seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. MBlaze Lightning (talk) 12:15, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How was it not neutral? Titan2456 (talk) 22:12, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think you should give up now. If you continue, he may report you because he reported me for the same issue. Elanoraga (talk) 12:32, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think I’ll keep trying, If they answer to my query and give a good reason I’ll give up. Titan2456 (talk) 21:18, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Links to draft articles[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to List of political parties in Pakistan. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 16:25, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Image Licenses of Imran Khan[edit]

Hey fella! Hope you are doing well! I was just here conveying message to please upload any of the images on wikimedia commons according to license guidelines and copyright rukes, just like I have recently gone through the recently two uploaded images of Imran Khan as YouTube screenshots, I am requesting to change its license immediately from cc by sa 4.0 to cc by 3.0 YouTube one to avoid their deletion in future and as far as the darkened portrait of Imran you uploaded and used in his sidebar as image it is bound to have copyright rules conflict and will be deleted immediately because it is not part of a YouTube video screenshot and either a thumbnail of Khan's photograph which can be easily found as single image on his social media accounts so it will almost get deketed immediately so I will request you to request it for deletion immediately and be aware with copyright rules in future! Well have a nice day! ☺️ Wallu2 (talk) 02:47, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! By the way I greatly appreciate and admire all your work on Pakistani political Wikipedia pages, Have a nice day too! 😊 Titan2456 (talk) 03:45, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your pattern of editing shows as if an editor paid by PTI would do. You need to properly disclose this information if you are on PTI payroll as it signifies conflict of interest. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 16:36, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I’m not paid by anyone I edit Wikipedia as a hobby, I can also comment on your editing pattern of constantly deleting information that portrays certain politicians like Asif Ali Zardari in a bad light, in a kind of censorship. I’m not paid by anyone to edit including the PTI. Titan2456 (talk) 19:53, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You create controversial maps using propaganda from the PTI website and consistently rely on this site for sourcing contentious information. You regularly include negative information about PTI's opponents while highlighting positive aspects of PTI and its leaders. You engage in edit wars with yourself over Imran's pictures. Your overall editing is very biased and fails to meet NPOV standards. To me, this suggests a personal affiliation with PTI or paid editing. Although we can never have hard evidence, these editing patterns raise suspicions. Please stop using the PTI website as a source and using Wikipedia to promote PTI propaganda. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 20:30, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When did I ever use the PTI website as a source, the only time was to create a map of explicitly what the PTI CLAIMS, am I supposed to check the PMLN’s website for what the PTI claims? I never use the PTI as a citation on Wikipedia, only when I explicitly state that it is a CLAIM from PTI I cite their website. As for Imran’s pictures, I also had a mini edit war with myself over Shehbaz Sharif’s picture to make it more high quality before reverting it. You can have your suspicions, and I have mine. Titan2456 (talk) 21:07, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don’t want any more conflict, and I don’t want to be rude so I’ll work on Pakistani history articles rather than Pakistani modern political articles for now. Titan2456 (talk) 21:24, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why do you think we have policies against using primary sources? A political party can post any propaganda on their website, but Wikipedia shouldn't propagate their propaganda by simply repeating their claims. If a secondary reliable source doesn't validate their claim, why should Wikipedia? Their claims need to be verifiable by a secondary reliable source before being included on Wikipedia. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 00:49, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You would obviously get PTI claims from PTI… from their website, I stated that it was their claims whether or not it was propaganda, it seems as this is your opinion. Titan2456 (talk) 03:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This isn't just my opinion; please refer to WP:PRIMARY. We cannot use primary sources, especially for controversial claims. If we followed your logic, supporters of every party would add their propaganda, citing their party's website as the source for their claims. Additionally, your defense of including PTI propaganda only reinforces my suspicions. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 03:39, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I never defended PTI, I only just said that you would get party claims from the party itself whether it was from the PTI, PPP, PMLN, or any other party, thanks for bringing this to my attention, I’ll not use primary sources next time, though this doesn’t justify removing the map. Titan2456 (talk) 03:42, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, it does justify it—the map was created by you using propaganda from the PTI website, it is not supported by any reliable secondary source. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 03:55, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WP:PRIMARY says that it requires a secondary source for interpretation, not for all purposes, especially claims, that I have explicitly said are party claims, the map has 4 citations from PTI, which Wikimedia Commons permits, I don’t know how to explain to you more that I can only get a party claim from the party itself. Following WP:PRIMARY, there is no interpretation, only data and therefore there is no need for additional secondary sources. Titan2456 (talk) 04:01, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Creating a map based on a primary source reflects your interpretation of the data. You can't simply take party claims from their website, as those can be propaganda. That's why I insist on using a secondary source for any controversial claims. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 13:50, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Propaganda from whom? Titan2456 (talk) 16:00, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
