I worked on the series. I can assure you all there was NO complaint concerning copyright of the Guru strand.

And the reason the shows had to be aimed at under 16s is that that is what Sky asked for. It was as much a pain for us as you!

I also worked on the show and there was no copyright issue over the name "Games Guru." —Preceding unsigned comment added by MonkeyFishGB (talkcontribs) 09:29, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How do you explain the changing of the name in Series 2 and repeats of Series 1 then? Also why Gareth Williams, producer of Game Guru at the time reported it on Live Television? 86.146.13.160 12:37, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Axed[edit]

Anyone know why this was axed? 172.143.144.84 23:28, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

At the time Sky decided they wanted to concentrate their funding on prime time rather than daytime.

Gamez Guru VS Guru section[edit]

IP 86.147.199.158, I inserted it into trivia, a 'slight' name change of a 5 minute segment in an hour long TV show, does not deserve its own section. So can you please not keep reverting it.

The Real Hustle[edit]

I'm fairly sure that a member of the G-team was conned in episode 8, series 2, in a fake waiter credit card scam, can anyone verify this? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.189.142.244 (talk) 03:21, 9 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Removal of Quote[edit]

Heh, I've actually decided to remove the quote from Matt Cuttle, as it doesn't really add any useful info on the show as a whole, in it's current context it just sounds like an unneeded personal attack on the presenters. (Not originally, mind) Slydevil 19:55, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think that it adds a lot to the general mindset of creators the show if one of the staff (technically a co-presenter) had those overall comments to make on the show. If it was a personal attack from a wiki poster, then yes It would need removing, but as it's been printed in public and has proof of it's existence I think it should remain, removing it further is just tantamount to censorship above anything else. 217.43.107.81 00:43, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Cuttle Quote[edit]

Matt emailed me to ask to remove this quote from the article:

  • One of the show's producers, Matt Cuttle, confessed "I admit the presenters Jamie and Darren aren't the smartest of all people (to put it politely!)" in a Jolt TV discussion on the series. [1]

He said it was someone on the Jolt.TV forums pretending to be him. So as the creator has argued that it wasn't him and there won't ever be any evidence to say otherwise, I feel it may be wisest to leave it out.--Guru Larry (talk) 11:09, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
