US release![edit]

It's been released, and it's identical to 42 All-Time Classics. Identical! So, I'm replacing instances of "42 All-Time Classics" with "Clubhouse Games", where appropriate. --Rovenhot 22:28, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name confusion (resolved)[edit]

42 All Star Classics is the European name, with a September 29 release date. Not sure where to put this info though. --JonathanEx 20:28, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a source? A Google search only returns two matches from non-English speaking sites. They don't look like reliable sources.--Cyberdude93 22:03, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Er...odd, there were only two results last time I checked. But in either case, none of those are reliable sources in my opinion.--Cyberdude93 00:58, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A Nintendo of Europe press release has the information. I've seen it on Gamespress, but that's a register only thing. It might be on the NoE site. --JonathanEx 20:26, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, a leaked version of the press release said 42 All Star Classics. The officially released on says it is All-Time Classics. I've fixed the article. --JonathanEx 20:30, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I didn't alter the article until I saw the NoE press release, but I didn't notce it said "Time" instead of "Star".--Cyberdude93 20:55, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Renamed games[edit]

My edit noted that Nintendo's "Field Tactics" is actually "Stratego" under a different moniker. I need to remember to hit "Space" instead of "Enter" when entering my reasons, though.--Drek 13:47, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is not true! The game is actually a traditional Japanese game for which info can be found on the Japanese Wikipedia. A Babelfish translation gives the name of "Soldier Shogi". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.202.86.85 (talk) 21:25, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism[edit]

Why only bad reviews are reported? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.103.101.234 (talkcontribs) 16:06, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Because I haven't bothered to add the things that the reviewers praised. Hbdragon88 04:10, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ratings[edit]

why does one cover say E and the other say 12+? 86.139.43.114 21:25, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Because they are two different organizations. The ESRB rated Clubhouse Games, while PEGI rated 42 ATC. Hbdragon88 22:15, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

chess glitches[edit]

People have removed this section because they thought the source is unreliable. While I agree that forum discussions in general are unreliable, it doesn't alter the fact that these glitches are verifiably real. These links are provided for people who wants to find out more on how to recreate the bugs for themselves.

How is it verifiable? The only way to verify whether or not its true IS to provide a good source. - A Link to the Past (talk) 04:46, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese game list[edit]

Does anyone know where a list of the games included in the Japanese release but not in the American and European releases can be found? This screenshot from GameSpot at least makes it clear that Go is included in the Japanese version. DT29 (talk) 22:31, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That game is also in the US version, at least, so it's not exculsive. It's called Five Connect, I believe, and I could never beat the damned AI. hbdragon88 (talk) 03:12, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

please do not delete.[edit]

Sequel developer[edit]

I have removed the unsourced claim that NDCube is developing the sequel. The only source I can find is a so-called "insider" on Resetera: https://www.resetera.com/threads/nintendo-have-forgotten-to-include-hearts-in-clubhouse-games-for-switch.177389/

This is not a reliable source for Wikipedia.

I will say, I think EPD Production Group 2 and NDCube is very LIKELY to be the developer, but it is NOT a verified piece of information, so is not suitable for Wikipedia at the moment. marsdeatTalk 11:27, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
