Questions on the gameplay

As I've found no gaming community on this game what I just received, I try to ask my questions here:

- how the saving system works? Ok, it only autosaves at certain points, but can I start multiply playthroughs, and if yes how can I change between them? - what the "extras" (Main Menu -> Special Features) menu supposed to do? It has an awfull lot of "locked" written out, but how to unlock those, and how am I supposed to know how to unlock those? - I see all around the net "achievements". The way to achieve them is descried, but how can I see what did I already achieved? - If I unlock certain things (eg. persecuting 10 executions), that'll be preserved for all future playing, or just the actual playthrough? - Where will the "Adventure+" menu/button appear?
