Whirlo[edit]
Why should this article use the Super Famicom version's box art and name, while the game was released in Europe as Whirlo? Is it because most of the series has been heavily Japan-only or something? Also, I heard that it is unnecessary to use fan-translated names as Wikipedia article titles. Parrothead1983 (talk) 23:36, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

- Well, I thought you wouldn't reply at all, so I decided to fix some of the article's problems. It's not really my preference, it's Wikipedia's. When I created an article under an unofficial fan-translated name, some other Wikipedia users changed it to the Japanese pronunciation of the subject's name, until an official English name is officially confirmed. For the game's front cover, the resolution of the one you uploaded wasn't low and was too dark. Parrothead1983 (talk) 08:27, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- Since I created the article, why would you think I wouldn't reply? And if there is a very commonly used English title, whether official or not, it's not uncommon to use it. The resolution (72dpi) was plenty low, although the size was just slightly larger than generally recommended (300px wide is recommended). - Usually, most Wikipedia users wouldn't reply to me when I want or need to talk to them. When you put the Japanese box art, I was having a hard time deciding whether to use the Japanese box art or the European box art. I was expecting you to put the European box art, due to the translation request saying the Japanese article should be translated into an English article titled as "Whirlo", which Noveltyghost usually does that to other translation requests, but then you added the Japanese box art and used the translated name on what it literally means as the title of the article instead of the romanji version (which is against English Wikipedia's rules). You were right about the box art's resolution, I judged by its look more than its resolution, and thought it was too large, because usually when I upload arcade flyers at an equal or slightly smaller size, Wikipedia users like Salavat usually post "non-free reduce" templates in them to make anyone reduce their resolution. But I still replaced the old Japanese box art with a higher-quality one, mostly because of its quality looking like it was taken with a camera instead of a scanner. Also, if you have a better version of a specific picture, it's better to upload a new version of the image rather than as a separate image. Xandra/Sandra[edit]
